It has been 8 years since Saath Nibhana Saathiya went on air. Apart from the Gopi Bahu and Kokila Ben’s chemistry, Ahem’s Presence was one of the main reason why the show was so successful. The show had created a constant buzz over the years with its tracks and twists. They managed to maintain a steady TRP graph and everything was going fine.
Earlier, there came a point when things started going down for the show. The story had a twist where Ahem dies and Gopi was left all alone. Mohammad Nazim, who plays Ahem, had left the show as his part was over; the audience didn’t seem to like it at all! The makers decided to show how gopi turns an entrepreneur and decides to lead her life solo. They tried to highlight the women empowerment factor, but it didn’t work out so well for them.
After Mohammad Nazim quit the show, the show had an average TRP of 2.5 for a few weeks. As soon as Mohammad Nazim’s re-entry was announced, the show started picking up more viewership and as soon as he made his entry on the show the show jumped to the 1st position with 3.3 points! And now that Mohammad Nazim has been on the show for more than a week, the show has stayed in the top three with 3.1 points. Now that’s a big difference from when Nazim was not present on the show!
Looks like that the audience is loving the Devoleena and Mohammad Nazim pairing!
