Owing to its roast format, Comedy Nights Bachao Tazza has been in news for all the wrong reasons. Off late, celebrities have walked out of the show feeling offended, and many have already started to avoid appearing on the show to promote their film. The latest to join them is ‘Befikre’ actor Ranveer Singh.
With Tannishtha Chatterjee and John Abraham storming out of the sets, it seems this time Ranveer did not want to take a chance, especially since his earlier tryst with AIB (also, a roast format) did not go well.
Reportedly, the actor refused to promote his upcoming film ‘Befikre’ on Krushna Abhishek’s show. Both Vaani Kapoor and Ranveer Singh thought it best to stay away from getting under the scanner and being made fun of.
They are not the first ones to do so. Earlier, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and even Shah Rukh Khan refused to make an appearance on the show, which is aired on Colors TV.
With the recent turn of events, the fate of the show seems unsure.
