Shagun Sharma who is currently seen playing the character of Titli in the second installment of the popular show Sasural Genda Phool has been subject to a lot of trolling on social media. There are many fans who want Ragini Khanna aka Suhana back on the show and as a result, they have been trolling Shagun.

I too have watched the show in my childhood and it’s a different feeling altogether to be a part of the show. I just want you all to understand that adding Titli’s character is not something that I did. I auditioned for it just like 10 others and have got the role. You think it’s fair to ignore my hard work and efforts. What would you do if you were offered your dream job? I need support and not hate because I am just doing my job…..

Further she says, “I don’t understand why people are targeting me and I don’t understand the need to. As an actor, I am just doing my job. Some will like it and some will not. You can’t satisfy everyone as each person has a different taste and preferences. I have received amazing feedback for the role and my fans are liking it as it’s a different me they see in the show. But yes, again some people are trolling it, so it’s the way how things function.”
The show features Jay Soni in the lead role along with the likes of Supriya Pilgaonkar, Ridheema Tiwari, Shruti Ulfat, among others, reprising their roles.
