We had recently reported that Arjit Taneja, who plays the role of Purab on the show Kumkum Bhagya, has put down his papers and is serving his notice period. Apparently, his last day of shoot was August 12. But, his exit has been delayed as the makers haven’t found the replacement. According to reports the actor will continue to shoot till September.
When an entertainment website got in touch with him for his confirmation, the actor said, “Nothing is confirmed yet.” It is known to all that Purab is a main character, who is supporting both Pragya (Sriti Jha) and Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia). He is a close friend to Abhi, and now that the latter is suffering from memory loss, he is concerned about both Abhi and Pragya. He is angry at Alia and Tanu, as they are taking advantage of Abhi’s situation!
The shows fans will also rejoice as their favourite rockstar, Abhi still loves Pragya and is not suffering from the memory loss. Apparently, he will be faking his memory loss to protect Pragya from the enemies, who are none other than Abhi’s sister Alia and his girlfriend Tanu!
Currently, on the show, Abhi is shown getting closer to Pragya, who works as a receptionist. He will also give Pragya, a lift in his car. Also, as she suffers ankle sprain and will not be able to walk, he picks her in his arms and drops her to her house!
It has to be seen how Purab would react when he gets to know that Pragya is in touch with Abhi. How will he help in reuniting the couple? Also, it has to be seen how Abhi breaks his news of his fake memory loss drama and how the two wicked ladies – Tanu and Alia would react…
