There were also reports of Navjot Singh Sidhu quitting The Kapil Sharma Show to revamp his image! But now, the creative producer of the show, Preeti Simoes has denied the reports. Preeti took to Twitter, “Funny imagination by summone from @dna ..1st on @arrahman sir which got refuted by de legend himself n now dis!😂😂😂.” When asked about Sidhu quitting the show, Preeti was quoted as saying, “It’s a false news.”
Sidhu has been recently in news for his decision of joining AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) after quitting the BJP. A reliable source was quoted by DNA as saying, “There’s a lot of pressure on Sidhu Paaji to quit our show. If it’s true that has quit the BJP for the AAP. We’ve heard that Paaji has been instructed to stop participating in the comedy show, as he needs to revamp his image.”
The former cricketer has been a prominent fixture, since the show’s inception (three years). A source from the show was quoted by the leading daily as saying, “He came to Mumbai to shoot for TKSS. From what we gather, he is planning to leave.” Now that Preeti has confirmed the news of Sidhu quitting the show is false, Paaji’s fans will breathe a sigh of relief.
The Kapil Sharma’s Show has been in news from the beginning – be it for the cast or TRPs! According to the latest reports, Upasana was approached by TKSS as soon as she quit CNL. After quitting CNL, Upasana has hinted that she might consider doing Kapil Sharma’s show, if they provided her a meaty role. Looks like Upasana hit the deal, as she will be seen with Naseem on TKSS. Naseem will be seen playing the role of Upasana’s husband. Upasana will be shown married and playing their neighbour. She would want to become an actress and will want Naseem to produce a film for her as a lead heroine.
