Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ is heading for an interesting twist. It was India Forums that reported exclusively about the introduction of Aryan’s ex-girlfriend in the show and now, as per reports, actress Vaibhavi Kapoor has been zeroed upon to play the character.
Vaibhavi has worked with Imlie’s producer Gul Khan in Star Plus show ‘Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka’ and was last seen in Dangal TV’s ‘Nath: Zanjeer Ya Zevar’.
India Forums has also dived in to know more about the upcoming track. As per our highly placed sources, Vaibhavi will play the character of Aryan’s girlfriend from the past who was in a mental asylum for four years. She also tried to commit suicide but was saved. All this while, she was waiting for Aryan’s return. She will be shocked to know that Aryan is now married to Imlie and will try to understand Aryan’s decision. However, the character might later turn grey.
We couldn’t connect with Vaibhavi for a comment.
As far as the current track is concerned, Imlie is trying to unite Sundar and Arpita, however, Aryan and Neela are against the same. Neela will try to create issues for Imlie in her mission to get Sundar and Arpita together.
‘Imlie’ is produced by Gul Khan’s Four Lions’ Pvt Ltd. The show has a stellar star cast including actors like Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Fahmaan Khan, Resham Prashant, Rajshree Rani, Gaurav Mukesh among others.
