Colors’ show ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki 2’ recently witnessed a major change. India Forums was the first one to report about Jigyasa Singh quitting the show. Newbie Prachi Bansal has been roped in to play the titular role post Singh’s exit. While the audiences have been considerate and have respected Jigyasa’s decision of priortising her health, they do miss her.
Finally, after a long time, Jigyasa finally spoke at length about her exit from the show and also thanked her fans for their constant support. In a long post on Instagram, the actress also thanked her cast and crew and wrote beautiful things for them.

Friends, well-wishers, my loyal audience, fans..everyone keep asking why i left the show in between but sometimes prioritising health & yourself is a Must.
This show wasn’t just another show for me. It was a child whom i was raising.
Trust me when i say this, it has been way more difficult for me to make this decision than anything else ever.
I have had the bestest times during this season, made the sweetest of memories & met some really really amazing people.
