Last day of shoot for ‘Anupamaa’ was filled with a lot fun and some tears: Aneri Vajani on exiting the show


Aneri Vajani has won many hearts with her effortless performance as Malvika Kapadia in Star Plus show ‘Anupamaa’. The actress is known for delivering relatable and heart-touching performances in various projects. After acing almost all her characters in the fiction genre, Vajani is set to make her non-fiction debut with Colors’ show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 12’. For the same, Aneri had to quit ‘Anupamaa’.

India Forums contacted Aneri and asked her about biding adieu to the cast of ‘Anupamaa’, she said, “I’ve grown quite close to the entire cast of the show in a very short span of time and share an excellent offscreen camaraderie with them. It was difficult to move out of the show. I literally went to almost everyone, individually and informed them about my exit from the show and since they’re all my well-wishers, they were happy for me to start a new journey. However, they were also upset to not have me around on the sets of the show”.

Talking about the last day on the sets of the show, Aneri quipped, “The haldi day was my the last that I shot. It was quite nice and fun. There was a lot of laughter and also tears as I bid adieu to the lovely cast of the show”.

Aneri received rave reviews on her exit scene from the show, talking about the same, Aneri said, “I woke up to some lovely messages from the fans and friends. They loved the scene and the amount of love that they showered, made me emotional. Appreciation of the work is what an artist strives for I’m glad to receive the same in abundance through my stint in the show”.
