With COVID 19 pandemic wreaking havoc across the world, the masses have now become more cautious than ever. But, here’s someone who started a trend pre-pandemic which later on went on to become a rule for a large number of people in his society. The Molkki actor turned out to be the first resident in his society to begin the tradition of immersing the idol within the premises of his house.
When we got to know the same, we reached out to the actor who said, “I did not do it just because I wanted to start a tradition or set a benchmark. We have been doing this for many years now. I think we all should do our bit for the environment. As actors, we are blessed to be in a position where people listen and try to incorporate whatever we do or say. So, if this trend has started within my own society, then it’s great.”
