Narayani Shastri on why she chose to move back to Mumbai from Goa

Actor Narayani Shastri has been on the tube for the longest time now but she has been juggling with her projects lately as she was staying in Goa.

However, Shastri, who was last seen in Aapki Nazron Ne Samja. relocated to Mumbai after living in Goa for two years. She returned to the city in August 2021.

Talking about it with ETimes TV, Shastri said, “I moved to Goa because I needed a break from everything. I had worked for 20 years in showbiz and wanted to some time out. I also wanted to spend time with my husband (Steven Graver), who is an artist, and had settled in Goa. But in the past few months, I realised that I am a workaholic and breaks don’t suit me at all.” It wasn’t tough to relocate, she says.

“Settling down in Mumbai again was not difficult because it’s my city. I have my family and home here. I had not sold off everything and relocated to Goa. It was just a planned break from the everyday humdrum of life,” she added.

Talking about TV shows, she said, “I have always enjoyed doing TV shows. I love everything that comes with it. I don’t say yes to everything that’s offered to me and therefore I never have any complaints. If you practise a little patience, the right role comes to you.”
