Krrip Suri (Asura Andhak) from &TV’s Baal Shiv shares, “I am not very fond of Mathematics. I get goosebumps thinking about the subject. I was so scared of the subject that to get rid of it I took Sanskrit instead of it after 10th. It is not I was terrible in that subject but I just never liked it. I hate doing calculations till date, and avoid it in every situation. The fear of Math is still fresh that I get nightmares about it (laughs)”
Kamna Pathak (Rajesh) from &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan shares, “Mathematics still gives me chills when I think about it. Not just like a kid, but I am really scared of that subject until today. Only my father in the entire world could teach me Math. Whatever I scored till 10th was because of my father. He would never teach me at home, and we would go to the playground where he used to give Math lessons by drawing on the sand of the ground. I could not even understand the formulas at school, but the way my father taught me is still fresh in my mind, and I am thankful to him that I never failed in that subject.”
Farhana Fatema (Shanti Mishra) from &TV’s Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai? shares, “I am scared of Mathematics big time! I still wonder how I passed that subject till 10th grade. Once my 10th boards were done, I decided to never look back at it and took Zoology, Botany and Chemistry for my 12th boards (laughs). Algebra, trigonometry, geometry felt like atom bombs in my life. I am happy with the basic Mathematical knowledge that I have, which is the basic calculations, but thanks to technology, we do not even have to do that nowadays as well.”
Kenisha Bhardwaj (Nisha Agarwal) from &TV’s Ghar Ek Mandir-Kripa Agrasen Maharaja Ki says, “I have loved mathematics so much that I have completed my Bachelor’s degree in the same. I enjoy solving problems and can spend hours doing so. My friends who hated Mathematics would be in shock seeing me enjoy doing all the Math homework. I still have my books with me. I take them out and solve a few questions whenever I am bored. It acts as a stress buster for me.”
Rohitashv Gour (Manmohan Tiwari) from &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai shares, “As a student, Mathematical problems were the biggest problems of my life. I used to pass the exams with bare minimum marks. To my bad luck, my father admitted me to the science batch during my 11th class, and I had to face that dreadful subject again. I failed 11th because of it, and I got readmitted into the Arts branch and topped the class. My parents realized that Math was never meant for me and let me make my own decisions regarding my education. I am afraid if I can never like that subject, but I am just glad it is over!”
We wish the readers a Happy National Mathematics Day!
