We all know how the fans are all set and rolling to be witnessing the sequel to Sasural Genda Phool that is currently titled Sasural Genda Phool 2. While the fans were already excited with the prospect that actor Jay Soni and several other actors from the show will be reprising their roles in the second season but there was a question as to whether leading lady of the first season – Ragini Khanna will be making her return in the second season as well.
It is true that Khanna is indeed not exactly a part of the season and actor Shagun Sharma has replaced her but that doesn’t mean that Khanna won’t be seen at all. In fact, the actor has been roped in for a special cameo and has begun shooting for the same as well. She will be making a special appearance on Sasural Genda Phool 2 and will reprise the character of Suhana.
A source told ETimes TV that according to the new installment’s storyline, Suhana will be shown dead but Ishaan (Soni) still misses her and pines for her. Khanna will hence be appearing as Suhana and appear in four-five scenes. She will come in flashbacks with Ishaan remembering her. She will help and guide him to move on in life.
When it was asked to why the replacement in second season, the source mentioned the makers wanted a new face to play the leading lady in this new season and the character of Suhana had explored to the fullest in the inaugural season.
We are sure, the fans are already vying to see Khanna and Soni together once again, albeit for a limited period of time.
