Actor Rahil Azam has been on the tube for over two decades now where he debuted with Ek Tukdaa Chand Ka back in 2001 and is currently seen in a recurring role in Sab TV’s Maddam Sir.
And while the actor is 40 years old and has been in relationships in the past, he continues to stay unmarried as of now.
In a recent interview with ETimes TV on Instagram Live, Azam was asked if he has a Valentine’s, he said, “No. For me, Valentine was never there, nor is it. As a person, I don’t believe in Valentine’s Day. Even if there is a lover in your life, why just a day, love should be celebrated everyday. For married couples, everyday is the day of love. I don’t believe in this concept of Valentine’s Day but best wishes to those who celebrate this day.”
When asked if what are the kinds of qualities in a partner he is looking for, he said, “Most importantly, she should respect elders. I haven’t really thought about having a partner, so it’s getting really difficult for me to understand what qualities I want in my partner. I just know that the person whom I would want to be my partner should know their roots and respect their parents. Because only when they respect their parents, they would respect mine.”
I think most of the guys look for or vice versa. Every person may have some 10-20 points that they look for a partner and out of which even if 15 points are met, then there’s nothing to worry.

He added, “These are such small things but after that the list is quite long (laughs) and that’s the reason maybe I am still single. I am a perfectionist by nature which is good workwise but in real life, it’s a headache because I seek perfection in every single thing. Maybe I am looking for perfection even in that person and therefore I don’t have any partner.”
Concluding talking about if marriage is on his mind, he said, “Yes. Definitely it’s on my mind but Allah knows better who it is and when it will happen. There’s a match made for every person. Talking about his potential Ms. Perfectionist, Rahil said that he looks for perfection “visually.” I think most of the guys look for or vice versa. Every person may have some 10-20 points that they look for a partner and out of which even if 15 points are met, then there’s nothing to worry. Similarly for me, out of 100 even if 80 points are met, nothing like it then (chuckles).”
Azam continues to ge vest remembered for his role as Haatim in the fantasy show from the mid 2000s.
