Rati Pandey, who was last seen in Shaadi Mubarak alongside Manav Gohil, managed to win hearts with her role, even though she stepped in for Rajshree Thakur. However, the show was taken off-air rather abruptly as one thing lead to the other and the second lockdown left the makers with little to no option.
In a recent conversation with TellyChakkar, the actress spoke about the importance of TRPs for a show, and the current number game. She mentioned, ”TV shows these days are focussing on quantity over quality. The moment TRPs fall, the writers change the content. A lot of changes happen in the show and actors don’t even get time to prepare for it. There are some shows whose content is so good and love to watch but their TRPs are very low. Such shows go off-air soon as the viewers are not interested in watching this kind of content.”
Meanwhile, Rati feels that content on TV is restricted and has the same old concepts running, the kind that has become monotonous. Seen in shows like Hitler Didi, Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai, and Porus, among other, fans of the actress are sure waiting to see what’s in store next.
