Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani’s Karanvir Sharma on shooting for wedding track, what’s in store ahead and more

Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani is currently witnessing the wedding track of Shaurya and Anokhi, played by Karanvir Sharma and Debattama Saha, respectively. Trust fans of the show to always make everything trend, as Shakhi Ki Shaadi was trending on Twitter earlier in the day, with tweets continuing even now.

India Forums got in touch with Karanvir and he spoke about the same, while also talking about the show, what’s in store for the fans ahead, and more.

Fans seem to trend every small and big achievement of yours, does it get overwhelming at any point?

Overwhelming in a very positive manner, yes, it gives me an immense amount of support. The unconditional love that they have towards our work, makes us smile and work harder every single day. I don’t think I have ever been so positive and worked as hard my entire life. I feel I am not only representing myself as an actor, but also the audience, and it is a responsibility, and I love the same.

Wedding tracks on TV are always quite the celebration, tell us your experience of getting the whole feel while shooting.

It is certainly a celebration both on TV and otherwise. This is very real, it is engaging and it does not have the typical daily soap drama. When I say real, I mean people would connect to it and we are going through every detail of every function in mind. I think it is going to be an absolute enjoyment for anyone who watches it.

What would you say has been rather difficult to get right on-screen and off-screen during the shoot?

Off-screen, it is the conditions that we work in – the weather, the heat, the pain, the sweat, and the exhaustion that happens, all of that, you need to cater to as an actor to perform. As for on-screen, I think I have been blessed with such amazing actors that half my battle is won, and also good screenplays and dialogues that are coming. What was really difficult for me is the post covid recovery because the intensity that it required really took a toll on me, but that’s the thing of the past.

You mentioned in your live that fans can’t even imagine the location of the wedding, and well, it sure turned out quite the surprise. What was your reaction to the same?

I had an eye-opening reaction myself because it is so unheard of, a professor getting married in an institution, it is very eye-catching and very unique – which is what the show is all about, so my reaction was the same as the audience.

What’s in store for the fans ahead now that it is going to be a seemingly fresh start of ShaKhi?

A lot of romance, cute knok-jhok, lot of fun moments, lot of drama, it is going to be all of that, what they’ve been expecting and even more.

The show is produced by DJ’s Creative Unit and has an ensemble cast including Alka Kaushal, Khalid Siddiqui, Falaq Naaz, Suraj Thappar, Swarda Thigale among others.
