Television has been the oldest form of entertainment since the past three decades. The medium which has evolved all over these years has been the highly viewed by the Indian audiences. But as the time has evolved, there is a divide between the audiences as OTT’s introduction in the market has made the viewers more ‘finite-friendly’.
On the other hand, TV which has had a set number of concepts that were being made for years and years, as the audiences are often termed to be non-adaptive to the changes. Reacting on the same, actress Shruti Sharma said, “You can’t call them immature. They are common people like us, even when we watch a show on television or on OTT, we don’t get connected to a character emotionally because we just watch it for 6-8 episodes and after that we’re done.”

She adds, ”We are more inclined towards finite series that are being made. But the TV audiences watch a show for years and years and the kind of shows that have been catered are more or less of the same type. And slowly and gradually, concepts that are being made on television are changing.”
On the professional front, the actress is know for her shows Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka, Gathbandhan and Namak Issq Ka. Apart from that, she has also been a part of two big films, Pagglait and Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, namely.
