On the day the contribution of educators in different walks of life are remembered for their contribution in building a society. People, on this day acknowledge the efforts of their teachers in their lives and thank them for the same.

India Forums got in touch with actresses Aparna Mishra and Shefali Sharma from Zee TV shows Kumkum Bhagya and Sanjog and asked them about their thoughts about Teachers’ Day.

Aparna Mishra, who essays the role of Shahana in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya, “Back in school I was a very naughty child who’d take up dares without realizing the consequences of it on other people. But my teachers were very nice, and they made me understand that I should not behave like this with others and practical jokes can hurt people. Hence, I had a very special place for teacher’s day in my life and I used to ensure that I express my gratitude to them on this day especially. I would like to wish everyone a very ‘Happy Teacher’s Day’.”

I have always had a strong connection and rapport with my teachers in school and in college as well. I remember in school, on this day we all used to decorate our classrooms and the most fun part was when the students would mimic the professors.
