Karan Johar’s Dharma Production launched three new actors in his movie Student Of The Year – Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. All three of them have moved on to do some pretty interesting work from their glitzy debut. Now, there have been reports for quite some time of a sequel to the 2012-hit.
For the first time, we have some confirmation that the project might be happening and that Tiger Shroff will be starring in it. The Baaghi actor was quoted talking about being in talks about the film, “Yes, we are in talks. Karan sir and I met a couple of times to discuss the film. He has given me a brief idea about the film. I will take the narration and sign the film mostly.”
When asked what it means to be working with Karan Johar so early in his career, Tiger replied, “Who would not want to work with Karan sir? If this works out, it will be fab.” The actor has had two releases till date Heropanti and Baaghi both have been successful films. Maybe, that’s what Karan Johar is looking at, that the actor can continue his good form at the box office.
Tiger is currently busy promoting Remo D’Souza’s A Flying Jatt, after which he will shoot Baaghi 2. If things work out, he might shoot for SOTY 2, after that. A Flying Jatt releases on August 25.
