Salman Khan is all set to star in the sequel of Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger. The film will be called Tiger Zinda Hai, and will release in Christmas 2017, as the film’s first poster seems to suggest.
There have been reports that Salman Khan will be playing a 70-year-old version of himself in the film after the first film. This should be interesting since he also played the arc of a 30-year-old to a 40-year-old in his last blockbuster Sultan. This sequel, will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar will be set in the aftermath of the love story of Tiger and Zoya from the first film.
The film will see Katrina Kaif reprise her role of a Pakistani agent, and as the title seems to suggest India and Pakistan will koin forces to fight terrorism. The poster reads: An Indian agent. A Pakistani agent. Against a common enemy.
The poster also declares the release saying, on Christmas 2017, there will be peace. After Sultan’s monster hit, director Ali Abbas Zafar is only expected to go on to bigger things. And the bumper success of the first film, the sequel shouldn’t be very far behind. Salman is currently filming Kabir Khan’s Tubelight. All eyes on Christmas 2017.
