And the most awaited festival of the year is here!
Diwali brings renewed hope and happiness. It symbolises the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.
India Forums got in touch with Zee TV actors Rohit Suchanti and Shefali Sharma and they spoke at length about the festival of lights.
Rohit Suchanti who plays the role of Rishi in Bhagya Lakshmi also mentioned, “I love the festival of Diwali as it brings in a lot of love, light and happiness in everyone’s life. It has been my favourite festival since childhood. I remember when I was a kid, all the family members would come together where the kids will burn crackers and eat sweets like there is no tomorrow. Now that I have shifted to Mumbai, I love the vibe of this city as well, all the lanes, houses and buildings are lit up with different kinds of fairy lights and decorations, it really lights up my mood. This year, even I will decorate my house with some diyas and lights and buy a lot of gifts for my family, my nephew specially and celebrate it the best way possible.”
Shefali Sharma, who essays the role of Amrita in Zee TV’s Sanjog mentioned, “My fondest memory of Diwali is celebrating the festival, attending Laxmi Pooja with both my close and extended family, and enjoy the day to the fullest. I believe togetherness is the best thing about Diwali. I also love dressing up on the occasion and make some delicious meals on the day for everyone in the family. This year, I wish all my fans and viewers a happy and prosperous Diwali and urge them to refrain from bursting crackers. I believe eco-friendly Diwali is the best way to celebrate the day.”
India Forums would like to wish everyone a very happy Diwali.
